Start understanding who the fuck you are. I spent a lot go time questioning what my purpose was. I spent so much time wondering, when in actuality, I should have tried to gain an understanding for myself. No one can give you the answers about who you are. You are the only one who can figure that out. I know that sounds very simple, but it can be difficult. In today’s social media obsessed society, it seems that everyone has it together and has life “figured” out. (Which is bullshit, but I digress) HOWEVER, what really happened is that many of those individuals have gained an understanding. Everyone is still working out the kinks because we are learning and growing everyday. But, once you have an understanding for who the hell you are, everything else starts to align. Understanding who you are means that you can visualize the big picture of who you are. You are clear on the vision. I started to understand who the fuck I was because I gave up being what I wasn’t.

Meaning, I gave up trends, people around me who were subtracting more than adding or multiplying, and popular opinions that don’t affect my life. External factors contribute to what you go through in life, but it doesn’t contribute to who you are in life. I decided on the things that just didn’t work and eliminated them. I made the conscious decision to understand Tany and curate a life that made Tany happy. I envisioned optimal Tany. I removed external factors to start understanding me. When I understood the vision, I made plans to transition into becoming the woman who I am. Trust me the road to this understanding is not easy. It comes with sadness, depression, and health problems. We are so overly exposed to EVERYTHING that it is hard to have to clarity. But we must be patient and have an UNDERSTANDING for self. This is a process for us. Understanding your true self is the foundation. I got to this point because I wanted better for myself as a human being. I dissected my unique characteristics, values, and beliefs. I did the ground work outside of what I see on social networks, to understand ME. I saw the vision, understood it, and started the groundwork. Brick by brick…
