Do what makes sense to you. Don’t worry about what others have to say. You must stay grounded in your faith and believe in yourself. Doubt will sabotage you before you even truly begin. Self sabotage is so common because we let people’s thoughts and opinions filter in. There’s no reason to concern myself with how they feel. It has nothing to do with me. If, all alone, you’re confident in your goals and dreams then that is all that matters. In reality, we don’t have the answers. We don’t need them though, that’s God’s plan. All we need to know is our purpose and work towards that. Our ultimate life. The naysayers and Debbie Downers can’t relate. They can’t relate with pursuing dreams and purpose. They have never done it and they will tell you it’s impossible. They will question you and fill you with doubt, but you don’t have to listen. They don’t have to relate. They don’t have to understand. None of the matters. Remember it’s about grounding yourself and staying out they way. You have no reason to talk with anyone about what God is getting ready to do for you. Let them think they know, that’s okay. Just keep your head in the clouds, keeping working, and know they will one day see. Don’t bend by the words of a nonbeliever. Their opinions do nothing for you, so you should pay them no mind. You will run yourself ragged trying to impress and be enough for everyone else. You need to be enough for just YOU. If it makes sense to you and feels right to you, then pursue it. Don’t wait for the accolades and applauds because that means nothing. True joy is doing what you love because you love to do it.
