Beauty is important, but it is not the end-all to be all. Nothing is more enchanting and charming than a woman who is not brain dead. What is brain dead? A person who has nothing to contribute to a conversation other than a basic greeting. Do not rely on a sweet girlish laugh or a simple head nod to keep someone engaged. You must be able to add your own two cents. As you focus on your level up, pick up a book. Read it cover to cover and then read another. Intelligence is sexy. Being well informed is HOT! Looks can only carry you so far.

While you are at it, expand your lexicon. An expansive vocabulary is something that every woman should work on. Conversation flows much easier when you aren’t stumbling over your words. Many women struggle with holding a conversation because most times they have nothing to offer. That awkward moment when you have nothing to offer after “how was your day?” via text will indicate that you don’t have conversation starters. Turn on the news, listen to an informative podcast, read an article. Or simply, find a hobby. Try to be knowledgeable or have something interesting to share. Learn a Snapple fact, or two. Having a slight idea of what is going on in the world is a major key. Do not rely on Instagram to be where you get your news.

Women embark on the level-up journey and just focus on the external. Take time to cultivate the internal. There is nothing more engaging than a smart woman. The sex appeal that a woman holds can drive a man to want her physically, but her mind can make him want her in every way conceivable. As we step into the best version of ourselves, we will learn to be more than just looks.
